That doesnt works:-( I cant understand why? Maybe, need to disconnect from Internet first? While formating and installing Windows XP, i always use the SAME product key just to get past the installation of Windows. Once I have Windows installed, and the time comes to activate, i choose to activate it over the phone. To do this, I generate an 'Installation ID' which the Microsoft Rep asks me to read out three by three digits at a time.

EI.cfg Format
The EI.cfg file specifies the values for the edition ID, the channel, and the volume license.
The EI.cfg file has the following format:
